Why don't you accept insurance?

From Dr. Dave: "My patients' overall health and well-being are my number one priority. My goal in this practice is to get to know my patients and their situation in more depth than the usual brief medical encounter allows. In an integrated practice, each person's condition must be evaluated on multiple levels."
The current insurance payment system makes it impossible to devote the time necessary to fully meet my patients' needs. Insurance companies limit treatment and care options and restrict the time a physician can spend with their patients.

Our practice is fee-for-service, and we ask that full payment be made at the time services are rendered. Extended payment plans are available in certain cases.
Although we are out-of-network for all insurance carriers, Nashville Integrated Medicine will file your insurance forms for you, and most of our patients are able to obtain partial reimbursements from their insurance carriers. The out-of-network benefit varies from carrier to carrier, but most PPO policies will reimburse between 60-80% after your deductible is met.
